Lonnie Martin, 87, died Monday, April 27, 2015 at Agape Senior. He was born November 16, 1927 in Horry County, a son of the late Joseph Franklin and Mary Jordan Martin.
In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his first wife, Juanita Martin and second wife, Carrie Belle Jordan; two sons Lonnie Martin Jr., and Anthony Martin; two brothers, Clarence Martin and Frank Martin and two sisters, Gussie Todd and Bessie Sellers.
Lonnie will be remembered for being a loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with those who were sick.
Mr. Martin is survived by two children, James Monroe Martin and Linda Martin Linville both of NC; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren and a special nephew, L. G. Todd and his wife Patricia.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00pm Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel with Rev. Gregg Cannon officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12:30pm until 1:45pm prior to the service.
Burial will follow at High Point Baptist Church Cemetery.
