On Aug. 11, 1963, he married Shirley A. Snook.
She survives along with a daughter, Laura (Dave) Sloan of Greenwood; four sons, Jack (Leslie) Snyder of Indio, California, David Snyder (Amber Bailey) of Goshen, Todd Snyder of Goshen and John Snyder (Kayla Buck) of Elkhart; and 11 grandchildren, Kelley, Cameron, Jacob, Noah, Lauren, Ethan, Sydney, Michael, Erik, Carson, and Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Wilden, Wilson, David and twin brother Jerry Snyder.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, 1911 S. Main St., Goshen. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at the First Presbyterian Church, 215 E. Lincoln Ave., Goshen.
Burial will take place in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
Memorial gifts may be directed to the First Presbyterian Church Foundation or the Salvation Army.
