Comic Book and Science Fiction Writer. Principle script writer for the Captain Marvel line of comic books for Fawcett Comics from 1941-1953, and helped revive the character in 1970. From 1948-1969, for DC comics, he wrote for the Superman series where he also co-created the Supergirl character. Posthumously inducted into the Will Eisner Hall of Fame in 2004 and given the Bill Finger Award for Excellence in Comic Book Writing in 2010.
