David served in the Vietnam War and retired as a sergeant first class after 20 years in the Army. He owned a tool business for a few years before working for PennDot until his retirement as an Equipment Operator. David was a former emergency responder and fireman for the Coolbaugh Township Volunteer Fire Company. He was a Red Cross instructor and an avid hunter. David was an active member of the VFW Post 509 in Tobyhanna and served as a district quartermaster.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter and her husband, mother-in-law, 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Burial will take place at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery,
