Amy attended Sand Hill Country School. She worked for General Cable and Walbro Manufacturing until retiring in 1998. In earlier years, Amy enjoyed visiting Charlie’s family in Mancelona. She was a good cook and baked great lemon merengue pies. Amy enjoyed crafts and made many pine cone wreaths. She was fond of reading devotional and inspirational books. Amy loved a meal of Billy’s biscuits and gravy. She would travel down South with Billy, but only if he drove around the mountains.
Amy is survived by her husband, Billy; children: Louann (Loren) Iseler of Peck, Deeanna Bruce of West Branch, Charles Stover, Jr. of Deford, Mark (Brenda) Stover of Cass City; step-children: Pam Ford-Moslander of Mancelona, Milton Ford of Lum, William Ford of Lum, James (Michelle) Ford of Otter Lake; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; 8 step grandchildren; sisters: Marion Hunter of Mayville, Margaret Springstead of Pigeon, Bonnie (Ron) Miller of Elkton, Jacqueline “Sue” Osborn of Shelby Township. She is preceded in death by her son, Dean Stover; siblings: infant sister, Phyllis Churchill, Virginia (Amasthes) Anthes, Marie (Jim) Brown, Wattie (Orville) Mallory, Helen Mellendorf, Clarence (Thelma) Churchill, Glen Churchill, John Churchill, Glendora Babcock.
