Doyle G. Ray passed away peacefully on April 10, 2019, just a week shy of his 72nd birthday, with his loving wife by his side. He was born April 17, 1947, to Gail Manwill Ray and Norma Irene Smith Ray. He was the 3rd of 5 children and born 9 minutes after his twin brother.

He graduated from Grace High School in 1965 where he was active in football and wrestling. After graduation he joined the military and then served a mission for the LDS church in New Zealand. He attended Ricks College and ISU where he received a BA in business/finance. While attending ISU he met Debra Ruth Pearson. They were married in the Idaho Falls Temple on January 27, 1970. They moved to Inkom, Idaho in 1976 where they raised their family.

Doyle was an entrepreneur and started many businesses. His last and most successful was his Dutch oven catering AKA Dutch Oven Delights and the well-known entertainment venue, The Booth Barn.

Doyle was a very giving man and made friends easily. He loved to hunt, fish and camp. He was able to do much of this as a scout leader for many years and earned The Silver Beaver Award. He coached many of his children's athletic teams. He had a great sense of humor and loved to play a good prank.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Gail and Norma Ray; sister, Jerri Ray Johnson; and his best friend, Peaches. He is survived by his wife, Debra R. Ray; children, Dereck Doyle (Kathy) Ray, Melissa Ray Barham, Janice Ray (Shannon) Dillon, and Camille Ray (Josh) Buchmiller; and 14 grandchildren.
