Teresa I. Paul, 44, of Cambridge passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2007 at Dorchester General Hospital. She was born in Cambridge on January 15, 1963 and was a daughter of John Hubbard, Sr. and Luvell Lane Hubbard. At the age of 5, a picture and article appeared in the Daily Banner proclaiming Teresa as Cambridge's tiniest angel, being the smallest baby to be born and survive at Cambridge Maryland Hospital at 1lb. 7oz. Mrs. Paul attended school in the North Dorchester area and graduated from North Dorchester High School in 1981. In her younger years she had been active with Faith Chapel Church in Hurlock. On July 17, 2003 she married Olie Paul. She was an ambassador for Medic Alert. Mrs. Paul enjoyed playing cards, emailing her pen pals and writing poems along with a love of country music. She was a past member of Linkwood-Salem Volunteer Fire Company. She is survived by her husband Olie O. Paul of Cambridge, a daughter Jennifer Frey of Secretary, her parents John and Luvell Hubbard of Secretary, a sister Deborah Stephens and husband Virgil of Laurel, DE, a brother John Hubbard, Jr. and wife Donna of Hurlock, 2 nieces Jamie and Ashley Stephens of Laurel, DE, a nephew Troy Paul of Cambridge, several aunts, uncles and cousins, closest friends and caregivers Jimmy Leonard and Estelle Gore and many friends at the Bradford House where she resided for many years. A graveside memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at 12 p.m. at Dorchester Memorial Park with Mr. David Yockey officiating. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association, 114 Baptist Street, Salisbury, MD 21801. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
