Ann M., widow of the late Linus Bumpus, died Tuesday afternoon at the age of 65 years, after only a few days' illness. The community was shocked and saddened by her death. She was a friend to everybody and was loved and respected by all who knew her. Mrs. Bumpus was the daughter of Noble and Harriet Bumpus and was born in Wareham, where she always lived. Funeral services were held this afternoon from teh house, Rev. G. G. Edwards officiating. Mrs. Mildred H. Draper of Onset sang two solos, "The Pearly White City" and "I Know". Interment was at the family lot at the Centre cemetery.
