Emma L. Salinas, 86, left to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at her residence in Los Ebanos, Texas. Mrs. Emma was born in San Miguel Tamaulipas, Mexico on March 10, 1932 to Flora and Pablo Flores.
Mrs. Emma was a beloved mother, wife, grandmother and great-grandmother. She dedicated her life to her home and family. She was married to her soulmate for 63 years who she created a beautiful family with, in life she had many friends, all of whom were with her in good times and bad. She had a great faith in GOD, her heart was of gold and she will be greatly missed.
Mrs. Emma is preceded in death by parents and siblings, Virginia Garza, Hermila Garza, Gustavo Flores and Dora Flores.
Mrs. Emma is survived by her loving husband Fausto Salinas and children, Julio Cesar Salinas, Lesvia Maria Salinas and Fausto Salinas Jr. She will be greatly missed by her two granddaughter’s, Karina Nicole (Jaime) Martinez and Lupita (Roberto Vela) Salinas, and her three great-grandchildren, Robert Gianni Vela, Aiden Axel Vela and Luna Isabella Martinez.
Family will be receiving friends on Friday, July 27, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. at the Lord and I Funeral Home in Penitas, Texas. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Sullivan City, Texas. Interment will follow to Los Ebanos Cemetery in Los Ebanos, Texas.
Funeral services are under the direction of the Lord and I Funeral Home in Penitas, Texas.
