The remains of James Gilborn of Bowling Green, C., were laid at rest at Mageetown yesterday following services conducted by Rev W.M. Brett of the Centreville Congregational Church. The bearers were H.W. Ross, F.E. Bellen, J.M. Boyd, H.E. Sexton, W.W. Winton and T.J. Patton. Music was rendered by Mrs. Hateh, Mrs. Goodwill, Mr. Gilson and Eugene Cook, who sang "The Lord is My Shepherd," "Blessed, Homeland" and "Lead Me Gently Home."
Mr. Gilborn had lived in Bowling Green for about a year and the remains were accompanied to Mageetown by Mr. & Mrs. John Stein of that place. The deceased leaves the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. George Magee, Mrs. Jerome Magee and Jacob Gilborn of Mageetown and Mrs. August Rador [Rater] of Ripley, N.Y., also a daughter Mrs. H. B. Thom of Louisiana.
