Shirley Louise Hart
SEPTEMBER 11, 1944 – APRIL 8, 2019

Shirley Louise Hart, 74, entered into eternal life 8 April 2019 with her daughter by her side.

Shirley was born 11 September 1944 in Van Nuys, California to Earnest L. and Velma B. (Andres) Roberts. She attended Tamalpais High School in Mill Valley, California.

Shirley Married the love of her life Dan in 4 February 1961. Shirley spent the next 20 years as a “Navy Wife.” Shirley worked as a warehouse supervisor. In 1983, Dan and Shirley moved their family to Olney Springs, Colorado. Shirley enjoyed spending time traveling with her husband and watching their grandchildren playing their various sports.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Terri (Jim) Howells of Sugar City; daughter-in-law, Debbie Refior of Crowley. Grandchildren, Michael Hart of Crowley, Christopher (Jennifer) Hart of Ordway, Nicholas Chrisman of Sugar City, Brittney Chrisman (Elliott Laurance) of Ordway, Justin Woodruff of Sugar City, Angie (Dan) Burger of Walden, New York, Hannah Howells (Derek George) of Denver, Alyssa Refior (Jay Shaddox) of Brewster, Washington, Jeff (Gerri) Bennett of Olney Springs, Ceciala (Richard) Kizer of Pueblo, Eliza Hart of Durango, Alexis Hatch of Arizona. Great-grandchildren Everly Hart, Joshua Burger, Wyatt San Juan, Raelynn Kizer, Bryson Bennett, Jonathan Bennett, Orsa Greyeyes. Brother Vern Roberts of White Sulpher Springs, MT, niece Christina O’neal of White Sulpher Springs, MT, nephew David Roberts of Ocoee, FL. Aunt Betty (Jiggs) Ellis of Red Cloud, NE, Uncle Bob Andres of Paso Robles, CA, and numerous great- nephews, nieces, cousins.

She was preceded in death by her Husband Ben D. Hart II, her parents Ernest L. Roberts and Velma B. Roberts; in-laws Ben D. Hart and Gladys C. Hart; son Ben Daniel Hart III; and daughter, Kimberly Kay (Hart) Bennett.

Funeral services for Shirley are 13 April 2019, 1:00 pm, at the Community Baptist Church in Crowley.

Shirley will rest forever at the Olney Springs Cemetery.
