Mrs. Radford was of the protestant faith. She received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Bluefield State College. She retired in 2009 as an accountant at Bluefield State College. She was a very talented artist and was a member of the Appalachian Artist Association. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Clarissa Gail.
Survivors include two sons, Travis Counts and Jesse Counts both of Kegley; one grandson, Travis Counts, Jr. of Kegley; three sisters, Sandra Davis and her husband Buck of Kegley, Diana Jenkins and her husband Anthony of Princeton and Shelia Levister and her husband Steve of Rock; one brother, Wayne Walters and his wife Margie of Princeton.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 15, 2011 at the Rowland H. Bailey Funeral Chapel of the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Fred Farley officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
