Lois Virginia Griffin, 89 of Star City, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2019 at CHI St. Vincent in Little Rock.
She was born July 31, 1929 in Camden to the late Leard and Fannie Catlett Gill.
She was a member of Calvary Assembly of God in Star City, where she was a member of the Women’s Ministry and was a homemaker. She loved gardening, crafting and loved her grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were 2 husbands, Otis J. Haynes and Ray Griffin; 2 brothers, Hollis and Pete Gill; and 2 sisters, Pauline Boyd and Irene Doak.

Survivors include her son, Chester Haynes and wife Ann of Star City; 3 grandchildren, Cassie Lindsey (Earl Lindsey), Carrie Elliott (Philip Elliott) and John William Haynes (Tracy ); 4 great-grandchildren, Blaine Lindsey, Caden Lindsey, Trista Elliott and Hayden Haynes; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are 2:00PM Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at Calvary Assembly of God in Star City with Lawrence and Patty Posey officiating.

Visitation is 12:00-2:00PM Tuesday at the church.

Burial at Best Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Calvary Assembly of God Building Fund, 275 Alco Rd., Star City, AR 71667.

Pallbearers are Ray Boyd, Dale Boyd, Richard Haynes, Louis Allen Walls and Blaine Lindsey.
