Angel Elizabeth Robinson was the first born to Virginia Robinson and the late George Robinson on March 8, 1962, in Bronx NY. She was also raised and reared by her stepfather Zephaniah Canigan of Newburgh NY.

Angel Jackson was a proud single mother of three beautiful girls and a Domestic Violence Survivor.

She was a member of the International Masons and Eastern Star of Lady Sutton Lodge no. 394 in Newburgh, New York. She was a dedicated member that could always be depended upon. Her sisterhood and compassion forever touched the lives of each member.

Angel worked hard for many years at Mount Saint Mary’s Nursing home in Newburgh, New York where she cared for the ill. She would later work at the Brian Center in Kannapolis, NC as a dietary aide. She also volunteered at local food pantries collecting and distributing donations to people in need.

Angel loved to grow plants, watch movies, listen to music and crochet; she was a member of the “Chain Gang” a local crochet club. She enjoyed giving back to her community as she volunteered during Voters Registration and the City Census. Angel was full of love and laughter and always strived to see the best in us all.

Most of all she loved to spend time with her mother, sister, children and her son- in-love Hector Estela, grandchildren, and a sea of friends. Angel never met a stranger and loved with her whole heart. She will be missed by so many.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories: a brother, George Marshall Robinson of Fort Lauderdale; a sister, Dawn Vannette Woody, of Newburgh, NY; three daughters: Evie Jackson of Kannapolis, NC, Gingelle Jackson and Tamara Jackson both of Newburgh, NY; four grandchildren: Tremayne Oates II, Adein Case, Xiomara Estela, Rounan Case; nephews Kenneth Scott II, Kadar Woody; niece Russia Robinson; great nephew Kensean Scott; great niece Kendra Scott and her Fur baby “Tarzan”.

Funeral arrangements are scheduled for Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Barber-Scotia College in Concord. The visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M.-1:00 P.M. followed by the funeral service at 1:00 P.M. Lamb Funeral Home Inc. will be serving the family.
