Born in Morris, NY on November 1, 1940 she was raised by Carl and Anna Damico Stearns.
Anna Mae was employed locally by Beech Nut, Liberty and McDonalds.
She was also a homemaker and a parishioner of Our Lady of Hope Roman Catholic Church in Fort Plain.
Anna Mae was also dedicated to her community by being involved with NAMI and the Lion’s Club for many years.
She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was predeceased by her parents and her sister Sandra.
Survivors include her husband Jackson Douglass of Canajoharie, NY; four children, David Douglass, Stephen (JoAnne) Douglass, Danise (Mick) Butler and Matthew Douglass; four grandchildren, Nicole (Adam) Frank, Kelly Douglass, Shea Butler, Grace Butler; two great grandchildren, Emma and Ethan.
Burial will follow in St. Peter’s & Paul’s Cemetery, Canajoharie.
