Barbara Craft Morse, 76, of Asheville, passed away on January 7, 2015. Though she grew up and lived most of her life in St. Louis, MO, she was able to move to North Carolina over 6 years ago to be close to family. She was born July 19, 1938 to the late Ed and Ruth Craft. Having retired as marketing director from Our Lady of Life retirement center in St. Louis, Barbara also had pursued her passions of photography and travel over her adult life – she had an independent spirit with a zest for life. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Janet Ray Craft and her son, Lucius B. Morse IV. She is survived by her son, Todd B. Morse and his wife Melinda and her grandsons, Tristan and Ethan Morse. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 10, 2015 in the Pulliam Chapel of Givens Estates, 2360 Sweeten Creek Road, Asheville, NC 28803. Per her wishes, there will also be a private, immediate family memorial service at a later date.
