Mary Stallings age 86, of Knox County and formerly of Trosper, Kentucky died Wednesday, April 10, 2019, in the Hillcrest Nursing Home in Corbin. She was born to the late Omer Egnor and Eva Blanche Perkins Egnor, born to them on August 8, 1932, at Trosper, KY.
She was united in marriage to James Stallings who preceded her in death. she was a homemaker and a member of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son: David Stallings, and her sisters: Doris Miller and Lillian Holley.
She is survived by her son Jeff Stallings and wife Juvy of Fort Myers, Florida, by 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and dear friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Mary Stallings will be 11:00 AM Monday, April 14, 2019, in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Josh Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Nancy Bain Cemetery at Hubbs Creek with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM Sunday at Hopper Funeral Home and after 9:00 AM Monday until the funeral hour.
