Carl was a son of the late Harry Edward Wallace and Core Lee Pruitt Wallace. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was retired from Sullivan Carson.
He is survived by his wife Betty Clinton Wallace of York, children, Carl Brian Wallace of Lincolnton, NC, Teresa Stroup of Wadesboro, NC, brothers, Baxter Wallace of Oregon, Wayne Wallace of York, sisters, Peggy Falls of York, and Margaret Jones of Charleston, SC, 11 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
