James Gerard Bergman, age 50, of DeMossville, Kentucky, passed away Monday, September 8, 2014, at the St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, in Edgewood, Kentucky. He was born in DeMossville on September 22, 1963, a son of the late Bernard and Eleanor Lemming Bergman. James worked as a truck driver at Rumpke and assisted with the Fully Charged Youth Group at Harvest Community Church.

Survivors include: his wife, Alice Harney Bergman; sons, Robbey Bergman, Jacob Bergman and Jake Bergman; daughter, Sami Bergman; brothers, John Bergman and Bernie Bergman; and sister, Betty Mills.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 12, at Peoples Funeral Home, in Butler, Kentucky. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 13, also at the funeral home. James’s final resting place will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, in DeMossville. Memorials are suggested to Harvest Community Church, 111 East Shelby Street, Falmouth, Kentucky 41040.
