During the early morning hours on May 24, 2017, Rebecca Robinson Wallace, affectionately known as "Becky" or "Beck Beck" transitioned from her earthly home to her eternal home. Born on May 30, 1965 in Shawsville, VA, she is now reunited with her father, Walter Carter, grandmother, Emma Robinson, baby sister, Teresa Robinson and many other loved ones who went on before her. She received Christ at an early age and was a member of Shawsville Baptist Church. In 2014, she became a member of Montvale First Baptist Church. Becky is a 1983 graduate of Shawsville High School, where she was a member of the marching band. Becky was known for her infectious laugh and her kind and giving spirit. After graduation, Becky moved to Roanoke and worked in the healthcare industry. It was in Roanoke where she met the love of her life, Roger Todd Wallace. To this union they became proud parents of three daughters, Virginia, Jessica and Krystal. Left to cherish her memory are her loving and devoted husband, of 20+ years, Todd; daughters, Virginia Wallace (Robert Brooks), Jessica Wallace, Krystal Crowder (Steven); mother, Patricia Robinson; sisters, Debra Anderson (J. Rock); Kate Gholston (Terrell); brother, Charles Robinson; aunt Starr Carter; grandsons, Quamaine Holmes and Jaylen Crowder; granddaughter, Sarah "Sugar Mama" Brooks; mother-in-law, Virginia B. Wallace; brothers-in-law, Douglas Tyrone Wallace (Linda), Anthony Wallace and Marshall "Bug" Wallace as well as a host of relatives and friends.
