Patricia Ann Gideon, 74, of Caldwell was called by her Heavenly Father to come home on Tuesday, April 9, 2019.
Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, April 12, 2019 at 10 am in St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Bernard Hung presiding. Burial will follow in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Thursday, April 11, 2019 from 5 to 8 pm at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home, a rosary will be recited at 7 pm.
Patricia Ann Flynn was born in Houston, Texas on March 19, 1935 to parents William E. Flynn and Betty V. (Daniels) Flynn. She was a high school graduate and married the love of her life, Harold Dean Gideon, in Houston, Texas on January 14, 1966.
Patricia was very devout in her faith, attending church as much as possible. She was a great cook and enjoyed canning fruits and vegetables. Patricia really enjoyed to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents; a brother, William (Billy) E. Flynn, Jr.; two sisters, Roselyn Staton and Maureen Weathers.
Patricia is survived by her children, three boys, Lester L. Lucas, Michael Gideon and Steven Gideon and wife, Pam; three girls, Janet O'Neal and husband, Brian, Kathleen Roche, Lisa Davis and husband, Shawn; a sister, Betty C. Thomas; grandchildren, Jennifer Hunt, Andrea Lucas, Amy Dittfurth, Daniel Lucas, Erin Lucas, Shaw Dowling, Taylor Roche, Alec Gideon and Riley Davis; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will include Alec Gideon, John Gomez, Cade Dittfurth and Stacy Dowling.
