Mr. Tommy Bush, Sr. age 69, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, died Monday, April 8, 2019 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Mr. Bush was born in Rutherford County and was a son of the late Ira Lee and Emma Loueve Taylor Bush. He was a retired factory worker and member of Miracle Tabernacle Church in Shelbyville, TN. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bush was also preceded in death by his brothers, Joe Frank Bush, Billy Bush, Jesse Lee Bush and Robert Bush.
Mr. Bush is survived by his wife of 50 years, Joyce Bush, Murfreesboro, TN; children, Katrina Bush (Ozzie) Laird, Murfreesboro, TN; Thomas E. Bush, Jr., Murfreesboro, TN; sisters, Ethel “Dede” Leverette, Chapel Hill, TN, Clara (John) Braselton, Taft, TN, Linda Lynch, Unionville, TN; grandchildren, McKayla Laird, Kandra Laird, Kaitlynn Laird, Tiffany Bush, Cierra Bush; great grandchild, James Slater Kennedy; sisters-in-law, Marie Bush, Martha Ann Bush; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation with family members will begin Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Family members will also receive friends on Thursday and Friday until 8:30 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services for Mr. Bush will be conducted on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Douglas Moore and Bro. Joshua Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Cothran Cemetery in the Rover Community of Bedford County.
