Allen-Michael Massey, 22, of Roanoke passed away Thursday, November 8, 2018. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Ernest D. "Paw Paw" Tate and Wayne T. Massey, grandmother, Nancy Tate and an aunt, Denise Fritts.

Allen-Michael was a 2014 graduate of Lord Botetourt High School and was employed by Wray Enterprise. He was an avid outdoorsman with a special love for Smith Mountain Lake. In addition to his love of outdoors, he was a gifted musician having taught himself to play the guitar.

Surviving are his mom and dad, Elaine and Mike Massey; grandmother, Judy Massey; aunts and uncles, Melissa and Jeff Jones and their children, Ashley and Zac; Angie and Scott Wingo and their daughter, Emily; cousins, Krystle Anglin, and Mary Fritts; and a special friend, Brad Wray.

A celebration of Allen-Michael's life will be held 7 p.m. Monday, November 12, 2018 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until service time. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home & Crematory. 366-0707
