Donald Melvin “Don” Fleming, Jr., age 33, passed away March 19, 2019. Don grew up in Clayton County and graduated with honors from Lovejoy High School. While in school he played soccer and percussions in the marching band. After high school he attended Southern Crescent Technical College and earned his Associates Degree in Computer Science and IT. He enjoyed building and repairing computers. Don was “an old soul” and a very kind and caring person, always willing to give the shirt off of his back to those in need. He enjoyed nature and the outdoors and was an avid reader.

He was preceded in death by his PePaw and Granny, and his aunt Sheryl Etheridge.

He is survived by his mother and step-father: Glenda and Rusty Taylor of Culloden; father and step-mother: Don and Kathy Fleming of Jackson; sister: Lauren and Jason Zoeckler of Jackson and niece and nephew: Kaylee and Mason Zoeckler; sister: Richelle Daugherty and family of Atlanta; aunts and uncles: Herbert and Terri Etheridge, Judy and Nolan Dortch, Anita and Dan Payseur and Naomi Biles; numerous great-aunts, great-uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may visit the family on Friday, March 22, 5-7 p.m., at the funeral home. Services will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2 p.m., at Philadelphia Presbyterian Church, 351 Morrow Road, Forest Park, with Rev. Jack Westlund officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
