Kathryn Lawes Simmons Clement, a resident and native of Napoleonville, died at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2007. She was 86, born on Oct. 6, 1920.
Visiting at St. Anne Catholic Church, Napoleonville, until Mass of Christian Burial. Interment in the church cemetery. Landry's Funeral Home, Thibodaux, is in charge of arrangements.
Survived by two sons, Robert J. Simmons Jr. and wife Shelia, and James L. Simmons Sr. and wife Kathleen; step-sons, James and David Clement; step-daughter, Gayle Richard; three grandchildren, Robert J. Simmons III and wife Stephanie, Paula S. Richard and husband Damien, and James L. Simmons Jr. and wife Recie; five great-grandchildren, Eris, Bobby, William, Sydney and Ross; and daughter-in-law, Dianne T. Simmons.
Preceded in death by her husbands, Robert J. Simmons Sr. and Pierce E. Clement; parents, Lawrence and Jeanne Lawes; brother, Louis L. Lawes; infant sister, Dorothy Lawes; and beloved granddaughter, Kathryn "Kate" Simmons.
