In 1979, their son, Edward, was born. Afterwards, Christine began teaching at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. During her 16 year tenure, she was deeply loved and respected by both students and faculty. Most of all, she was a God-fearing Christian, who sincerely cared for the spiritual needs of many brothers and sisters. She loved God and loved people. Even on her sick bed, she remained steadfast in intercessory prayers for many, named them before the Lord one by one, overflowed with faith, believing the Lord listens and answers prevailing prayers.
