Mrs. Terri Lee Grimes Jackson, age 56, of Canaan, Indiana entered this life on May 25, 1962 in Madison, Indiana. She was the loving daughter of the late George V. and Emily "Tootsie" Dunlap Grimes. She was raised in Madison and was a member of the Class of 1980 at Madison Consolidated High School. On March 19, 1999 she was united in marriage to Jay M. Jackson in Carrollton, Kentucky. This happy union merged two families together and they enjoyed their sons, Patric and Jay. Terri had worked with Oscar Meeks with his horse medications. She also owned and operated Canaan Cupboard Candles and enjoyed making hair bows for people and craft companies. She enjoyed the Garden Club and was a member of the Hummingbird Anonymous Group. Terri loved horses, raising flowers, photography, crafts, her animals, her farm, and being with her granddaughter. Terri was a loving friend to many and was a baptized Christian. Terri died on Sunday, April 7, 2019, at her home near Canaan, Indiana.

Gutzman of Austin, Texas; her loving sisters, Cindy "Sis" Grimes of Madison, Indiana, Ginger Grimes Taylor of Madison, Indiana; her uncle, Billy Joe Dunlap of Marysville, Tennessee; her sisters in law and brothers in laws, Denise Dailey and her husband, Denny of Deputy, Indiana, Debby Hardy and her husband, Randy of Lexington, Indiana, Lisa Griffin and her husband, Jeff of Dupont, Indiana, Myron Jackson and his wife, Sheila of Vevay, Indiana; her mother in law, Lois Jackson of Madison, Indiana; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, George V. Grimes, died August 24, 1994, her mother, Emily "Tootsie" Yvonne Dunlap Grimes, died June 11, 2014, her uncle, Donald Wayne Dunlap, died December 30, 2014, and her aunt, Evelyn Ann "Evie" O'Nan, died December 20, 2011.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, April 12, 2019, at 7:00 p.m., by Pastor J.D. Traylor at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
