Phyllis Charlene Hancock, 72, of Heritage Hall, Tazewell, formerly of Falls Mills, Va., died Thursday, Oct. 9, 2008 in Tazewell.
She was born in Pembroke, Va. and was a daughter of Gloria Helton Martin of Pembroke, Va., and the late Robert Martin.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard A. Hancock and a son, Richard A. Hancock, Jr.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a grandson, Nathan Hancock - Falls Mills, Va.; brothers, Shorty Martin - Princeton and Dickie Martin - Pembroke.
Graveside services will be held Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton with Pastor Kathy Cregger officiating.
Friends may call Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the Dudley Memorial Mortuary in Bluefield, Va.
