George Holland, 86, of Cleburne, Texas was born September 12, 1932 in Gladewater, Texas, the son of Mamie Wright (King) and George Clayton Holland, Sr. He passed away April 7, 2019.

After moving to Cleburne at age 5, he graduated from Cleburne High School in 1950 and went on to graduate from North Texas State College and Texas Wesleyan. He taught at Fulton Jr. High in Cleburne from 1956-1966, Cleburne High School and was principal at Santa Fe Kindergarten until his retirement in 1992.

He was a member of Field Street Baptist Church where he served as deacon and volunteered for SOS and was Building Chairman until he was no longer able.

Preceded in death by his parents; son, Clay Frank Holland; daughter, June Elaine Holland; grand daughter, Jennifer Ann Morrow Jackson and brother-in-law, Dean Scott. Survived by his wife, Nancy Ann Holland; children, Vicki, Sherri, David, Leann and Murray; grand children, great grand children, brother, Larry Nathan and many other family members and friends.

Funeral services: April 11, 2019. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery...RosserFH
