Annie Pearl Attended public school in Beaumont and graduated from Beaumont Colored School in 1955.
On August 6, 1955 she was united in holy matrimony to Herbert Henry and they remained together for 61 loving years. To this union they were blessed with two (2) children, one (1) son, and one (1) daughter, they later had the pleasure of adopting two (2) of her niece’s children, (1) son, (1) daughter.
Annie Pearl joined River Valley Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Bud Dossett, she accepted Christ as her personal savior and devoted her life to being a Christian person. She was a faithful member until she went to be with the Lord.
Mrs. Annie Henry worked for Mississippi Action for Progress for thirty-two years. Many of those, she served as head teacher. She was much loved by her students and faculty.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Gracie Lee Ramsey, Alberta Carter, and Maybell Henry. Two brothers, John Red Bolton and Earnest James Ramsey.
Annie Pearl Passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Forrest General Hospital, Hattiesburg, Forrest County, Mississippi.
Annie Pearl, was the wife of Herbert Henry: The Mother of Rev. Herbert Charles Henry, Deborah Elaine Bourne, Aylia Henry, Alex Henry. Grandmother of Cornelius DeWayne Henry, Constance LeTrice Bourne, Conswayla LeTrace Bourne, Great-Grandmother Cornelia DeShay Henry, Haedyn Ra'Shard Leverette, and Kingston DeWayne Henry. A special Aunt/Mother of: Kara LeTrice Carter, Kylan Carter, Kaleb Carter, and Khailen Carter
