Parent--Jean (John) T on January 11, 1986 formerly of South Hackensack, NJ. Beloved Husband of the late Dorothy (nee Stout). Devoted father of William J. Parent and Ralph A. Parent. Loving grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Dearest brother of Mrs. Adeline Landry, Mrs. Mildred Ross, Felicien, Leonce, and Wilson Parent. The funeral from the Gormley-Gentile Funeral Home 335 Union St. Hackensack on Friday Janaury 17 at 8:30 am. Thence to St. Mary's R.C. Church for the Funeral Mass at 9 am. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 7-9 pm and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

Jean T. Parent, 74, of Fountain Valley, Calif., formerly of South Hackensack, died Saturday. Before retiring 14 years ago, he was a mechanic for NJ Transit in Hackensack for 45 years. Surviving are two sons, William J. of Fountain Valley and Ralph A. of South Hackensack; two sisters, Adeline Landry in Louisiana and Mildred Ross in Pismo Beach, Calif.; three brothers, Felicien, Leonce, and Wilson all in Louisiana; eight grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. His wife Dorothy E. Stout Parent died in 1972. Mass will be Friday at 9 am at St. Mary's R.C. Church with burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, both in Hackensack....
