Bobbie Jean (Lovelace) (Vockel) Butler was born on July 26, 1924 in Nashville, Tennessee {and although her obituary lists her as the daughter of Harvey Martin and Gladys (Hatley) Martin, Harvey was her stepfather}. Bobbie was the daughter of Gladys Lavergne (Hatley) (Lovelace) Martin (1905-1984) and her 1st husband Virgil William "Virgie" Lovelace (1897-1945).

Bobbie was married 1st to -- Vockel, and she was married 2nd to Arnold Butler.

She was a member of Charlotte Avenue Church of Christ and was a former employee of Wilson-Quick Pharmacy and Bell Meade Drugs.

Living in Franklin, Williamson County, she was 84 years old when she passed away on February 2, 2009 in Nashville.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her Butler husband, while survivors included a married Vockel son, two daughters and a son-in-law, a Grubbs sister, eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services were held at Woodlawn Funeral Home's Dignity Hall, and burial was in Woodlawn Cross Mausoleum.
