Henry married Shirley Joan McArthur on May 27, 1955, and together they raised their four children on the Ford farm; Phyllis (Laurie) Lindgren, Gordon (Colleen Franke) Ford, Eleanor (Brickwood) Ford and Bill (Glenda Loewen) Ford.

He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; Collin Lindgren, Corinne (Ostaszewski) Lindgren, Amy (Steinbrecker) Ford, Wesley Ford, Aaron & Andrea Bushey, Jennifer (LeBlanc) Ford, Steven Ford, Haley Ford and Kate Ford and 14 great-grandchildren; Christopher Lindgren, Talia & Deegan Ostaszewski, Daisy Steinbrecker, Marcus & Leif Bushey, Hunter Burton & Koltyn Carrier, Emilie, Liam and Amayah Ford, Nathan LeBlanc, Jackson Ford and Brooklyn Hofmeister.

Henry held the distinction of being the oldest living Ford male to date. He was an outstanding father and grandfather; teaching through example, many valuable life skills that will serve as his legacy for years to come. He was a dedicated and tireless provider for his wife and family.

He raised cattle, sold and hauled sand, gravel, and water and drove the school bus, hauling precious cargo for many years for the County of Grande Prairie. He is fondly remembered for his love of music and dancing.
