Opal Ruth Krumrey, 84, died at 12:45 p.m., Thursday, Feb 1, 2001, at the Marion Memorial Hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m., Monday, at the Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion, with Dr. Harold Landwehr officiating. Burial will be in the Maplewood Cemetery in Marion. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Zion United Church of Christ Building Fund.
Mrs. Krumrey was a retired beautician/owner of Ruths Beauty Shop.
She was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ.
She was born on April 20, 1916, in Pittsburg, to William H. and Alice (Marks) Lee. She married Elmer L. Krumrey on May 20, 1949, in Marion. He survives her.
Other survivors include one son, Herbert E. Krumrey Sr. of Marion; three grandchildren, Herbert Krumrey Jr., Randal Lee and Megan Marie Krumery and Joh R. and Alina Krumrey, all of Marion; two great-grandchildren Grant Lee Krumrey and Ethan James Krumrey, both of Marion; and two sisters, Susan Schaubert and Cecile Hester both of Marion.
Her parents, three brothers, Robert E. Lee, William H. Lee and James Lee and one sister, Peggy Hardy preceded her in death.
