Survivors: husband, Elsworth L. Abbott; son, William Hinton, Atchison, Kan.; stepdaughter, Shirley Diaz, Falls City; sisters, Nila Yingling, Hiawatha, Kan., Mabel Cooper, Kansas City, Mo.; 20 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by son, Marvin Hinton; daughter, Charlene Fahmeyer; stepdaughter, Judy Niemeyer.

Memorial service: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, First Christian Church, Falls City. Inurnment at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va.
