Richard Garland Crews, Sr. of Bremen passed away Thursday, April 4, 2019 in an Atlanta hospital. He was born in Newnan, April 26, 1945,son of the late James E. Crews and Annie L. Rakestraw. Mr. Crews is a nineteen year retiree from Home Depot where he was employed in Sales. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Benny Crews.
Survivors include his wife, Carol I. Crews, Bremen; children, Richard and Linda Crews, Randall and Alma Crews, Robert and Cathy Crews, Michael and Susan Crews; grandchildren, Jennifer and Bryan Bolden, Christopher and Kelli Crews, Daniel and Justin Worsham-Crews, Justin Crews, Thomas Crews, Kaitlyn Crews, Zachary Crews, Mattie Crews and Jake Crews; great grandchildren, Lanna Crews, Lily Bolden, Ella Crews, Abby Bolden and a brother, David Crews.
Services will be Tuesday, April 9 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with
Reverend Jimmy Bryan officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
