Maude L. Truell, 65, of Old Hubbard Road, died May 22, 1988, in Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital in Hanover. She was born in Newport and lived in Meredith since 1955. She was a real estate broker and with her husband owned and operated Truell Real Estate Inc. in Meredith until 1981.
She was the widow of Paul R. Truell, who died in 1981. They were married for 41 years.
Mrs. Truell was a 1941 graduate of Towle High School in Newport and was a member of the Elks Emblem Club 80 and the First Congregational Church of Meredith.
Family members include two sons; and a sister Goldina Marguerite Cutting Gonyea (1996).
