Services for Barbara Chisolm Nance will be held Sunday, April 7, 2019, at 2 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Gene Higginbotham officiating. Burial will follow in
Eastlawn Cemetery
Visitation will be held Saturday, April 6, 2019, from 5p.m. until 8 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Nance, 81, of Philadelphia, died Friday, April 5, 2019.
She was a native of Damasaus Community of Kemper County and a longtimeresident of Philadelphia.
Formerly worked at Wells Lamont and later retired from U. S. Motors in Philadelphia. Mrs. Nance was a member of Longino Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons, Donny Massey (Norma) of Philadelphia, Keith Massey (Lisa) of Dekalb; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews and their families and a special nephew she raised, Ricky Lide (Vicki) of Dekalb.
Mrs. Nance was preceded in death by her parents, David and Pauline Chisolm; husband, Wayne Nance; brothers, Bill and Jack Chisolm; sister, Doris Bouvier.
