MARSHALL, Ill. - C. Jean Roach, 88, of Marshall passed away 2:11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 17, 2018, in Burnsides Community Health Center at Marshall.
Jean was born June 12, 1930, at Marshall, the daughter of Charles and Lydia Garner Mason. She married Lee E. Roach Sr. on May 27, 1950, and he preceded her in death on June 27, 1999.
Surviving are her children, Charles (Sharon) Roach of Marshall, Gary (Anita) Roach of Columbus, Ga., Paul (Coleen) Roach and Joe (significant other - LeAnn) of Annapolis, Ind., Becky (Ken) Cribelar of Martinsville, Ill., Rachel (Ernie) Ray and Dessie Swartz of Marshall and Janie (Dennis) Holland of Texas; a brother, John (Phyllis) Mason of Terre Haute; 25 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Lee Roach Jr.; siblings, her twin brother Charles, Woodrow, Raymond, Paul, Cora Nicoson, Nell Schillaei, Rebecca Hargis, Mary Hargis and Lenora Figg.
Jean was a member of the Marshall Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
Services in honor of her life will be at Pearce Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Dunlap Cemetrey.
