Mr. Barry Lyle Lee, 39 of the Big Level community, was called home Friday morning, April 5th at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX, after a two year battle. He was born May 6, 1979 in Hattiesburg, the son of Alton Lynell & Julia (Fairley) Lee. He grew up a country boy and loved the outdoors. He graduated from Stone High School and afterward joined the US Navy where he served honorably. After his discharge, Barry lived in the Big Level community where he loved to hunt, fish, and spend time with his family. He was a man of God and attended Ten Mile Baptist Church. A caring, loving son, brother, husband and father, he will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Barry was preceded by his father, Alton Lynell Lee, and his grandparents Roscoe & Vera Mae Lee and Leamon & Nomie Fairley. Left to cherish his memories are: his loving wife Stacy; their daughters Brianna and Brook; his mother Julia Lee; his sister, Janell Lee and his brother Chad (Debbie) Lee; nieces Sara (Justin) Rigney, Erica Wilson, Marcie Wilson, and nephew Josh (Angie) Lee, along with numerous extended family and friends. The family will receive friends for visitation at 2:00 PM Wednesday afternoon, April 10th at Ten Mile Baptist Church, with the funeral service at 4:00. Barry will be laid to rest afterward in the church cemetery. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Lee family, and asks everyone to keep Stacy and all the family in your prayers in this difficult time.
