Miss Sheryl S. Welch, age 54 of Jonesboro, passed through the heavenly gates Monday, April 1, 2019. She was a 48 year resident of Jackson Parish and a 1982 graduate of Jonesboro-Hodge High School. Miss Welch was a member of North Hodge Assembly of God. She will be remembered as a quiet woman, but she made up for it with her great love and devotion to her family, church family, and in her enjoyment of singing.
Left to cherish her memory is her brother, Greg Welch (Kay); special nieces and nephews, Jarrod Welch (Jamie), Emily Trosclair, Clairissa Overbey (Mark), Mandy Norsworthy (Kevin), Anson Culpepper, Chase Morgan; a host of great nieces, great nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by parents, Raymond P. and Bernice E. (Ramsey) Welch; sister, Angela Morgan; doggie-daughter, Annie.
Friends may visit with the family Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at North Hodge Assembly of God from 10:00AM until time of service at 2:00PM. Funeral services will follow at 2:00PM with Reverend Geary Phillips officiating. Internment will take place at Gayla Traina Cemetery under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home.
