Wallace H. Peters, 77, of Mulberry, Arkansas died Wednesday, April 3, 2019 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was a self-employed Antiques Dealer, a veteran of the U. S. Army, and was of the Christian Faith. He was born March 10, 1942 in Mulberry to Sam and Avis Williams Peters. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Kay Burt; and nieces Kristie and Brenna Parrish.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Millsap Peters of Mulberry; two sons, Barry Peters and wife Rhonda and Gary Peters, both of Mulberry; a sister, Betty Spears and husband Roger of Mulberry; a grandson, Brock Peters of Fort Worth, Texas; a granddaughter, Taylor Peters of Weatherford, Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Mulberry Church of Christ with Brothers Randy Rankin and Jim Boatwright officiating and burial at New Cemetery in Mulberry under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark. Serving as pallbearers are Ronnie and Jimmy Dale Millsap, Walter Shepard, Dugan Walker, Dewayne Hare, and Roy Lickliter. Honorary pallbearers are Johnny Callahan, Joe Millsap, Donnie Brigance, and Harold Higgins.
The family will visit with friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Friday, April 5th at Shaffer Funeral Home, 2315 West Commercial Street in Ozark.
