Danette Amos Williams also known as “Bitty” was born September 7, 1972 to James Wright and Martha Rush in Chicago, IL. She was the fifth child to this union. She attended John M. Smith, Jr. and Crane High School in Chicago. She came to know the Lord in 1978 at St. Paul Pentecostal Church in Chicago where she was baptized under the leadership of Elder Redmond.

Danette was a very outgoing and loveable person. She loved attending family and friends functions. When she entered the room her presence was known. She loved dancing to any song that came on…most would say she was the life of the party but what she loved more than anything in the world was her three children, Sasha Williams, Elijah Williams and Joshua Williams.

On March 23, 2019 at 46 years of age, the Lord called Danette home. She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband, Trevorton Williams, three children, Sasha, Elijah and Joshua Williams, five brothers, James (Deborah), J.W. (Sabrina), Jacob, Charles, Ed (Maria), two sisters, Ethel, Carolyn (Larry), two uncles, Johnny (Kimberly), Kevin (Jackie), an aunt, Thelma Sanders and a host of nephews, nieces and cousins.

She was cherished and preceded in death by her mother, Martha J. Rush, her father, James Wright, her sister, Tempie Burdine, brother, Eric Amos, uncle, Theodore, stepfather, J.W. Burnett.

A Celebration of Her Life Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Emmanuel Faith Bible Christian Center 1840 Lincoln Street North Chicago, IL. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. Interment will at North Shore Garden of Memories.
