Donna Fern Riddle, a resident of Wynnewood, OK, was born on July 26, 1934 in Apache, OK to Dovie (Hoover) and Landes Lee Horton. She passed away at her home on April 3, 2019 at the age of 84.
Donna grew up and attended school in Shawnee graduating Shawnee High School in 1952. She then married Bobby Dean Riddle on May 24, 1953 in Edmond, OK at the end of her freshman year at Central State College. She later went on to finish her degree in teaching at Northridge College in California. She taught and retired from Oxnard School District where she was awarded teacher of the year honors during her career.
She was preceded in death by 3 brothers - Joe, Fred, and Landes; 4 sisters - Marjory, Helen, Doris, and Irene; 2 granddaughters - Regina Kay and Stephanie Lynn.
She is survived by her husband - Bobby of their home, 2 daughters - Janet and husband Donald McCarty of Pauls Valley, OK, and Karla Scott of Wynnewood, OK, 4 grandchildren - Risha and husband Wesley Lindsey, Kaylee and husband Bret Dunn, Kristi and husband Jay Mitchell, and Shelby and Husband Tyler Tadlock, 7 great grandchildren - Madyson, Paisley, Caden, Jaxon, Jenson, Alaia, and Bryndel, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Monday April 8, 2019 at 1:00PM at the First Baptist Church in Wynnewood, OK officiated by Russell Brewer with burial following at Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood.
