Catherine Patricia Wilkinson, 88, of Ottumwa, died at 2:31 a.m. April 4, 2019 at Good Samaritan Society-Ottumwa.
She was born July 20, 1930 in Milwaukee, WI to Raymond and Magdalen Hess Amos. Pat married Robert R. Wilkinson on November 24, 1949 and he preceded her in death on July 8, 2000.
A graduate of Ottumwa High School, she had attended Ottumwa Heights College. Pat and her husband had owned and operated Village Inn Motel in Ottumwa. She began an art career and taught art through Indian Hills Community College Adult Education.
She had been a resident of Ottumwa all of her life before moving to Arizona in 1998, then in 2002 moved back to Bloomfield and then to Ottumwa.
Pat was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, had been a volunteer at Davis County Hospital and a member of the Quilt Group at St. Mary of the Visitation.
Surviving are her children, Kathy Loving of Ottumwa, Jody Aeschliman of Bloomfield and Dennis Wilkinson of Glendale, AZ; daughter-in-law, Vickie Wilkinson of Albia; 10 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane Patricia Wilkinson and a son, Larry Wilkinson.
Her body has been cremated.
The Rosary will be recited at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Reece Funeral Home followed by family visitation until 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
