Mr. Blum and his mother resides at the Summit St. home. His mother had been visiting several days in Talcottville and found the body on her return home Saturday night. Mr. Blum had suffered frequently lately from dizzy
spells and it is believed he fell as he was climbing the stairs.
He was born July 9, 1897 at the Blum homestead, north of this village, and had always lived in this vicinity. His father was the late William H. Blum.
He was a member of Summit Lodge, I. O. O. F. and was a graduate of Boonville High School.
Besides his mother, he leaves a sister, Mrs. Robert Brown, two nephews, Edward and William Brown, all of Boonville; and a niece, Miss Elvera Brown, Rochester. Rome Daily Sentinel, Monday Evening, June 20, 1938
