Lizzie had been married first to Jesse Elrod in McMinn County, and they were parents of Louise, Edna, Bobbie Joe and another son. After they divorced, she married W. Ollie Pendley on December 23, 1929 in McMinn, and they relocated to Dalton.
Her death cert. says she was buried in West Hill Cemetery in Dalton, but apparently in an unmarked grave, as was her mother, Rene, until marked by a caring descendant.
