Services for Loyd G. Anderson, 79, of Paducah will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Dr. Larry Lewis and Rev. Al Robison officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Anderson died at 9 a.m. Sunday at Southgate Health Care Center in Metropolis, Ill.
A native of Paducah, he was a retired television technician for Sears after more than 40 years of employment. Mr. Anderson was a member of Reidland Baptist Church and Reidland Lions Club.
Surviving are his wife, Ouida Young Anderson; two sons, Glen Anderson of Paducah and Kenneth Anderson of Jackson, Tenn.; one brother, John R. Anderson of Paducah; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers. His parents were Charles Murrell Anderson Sr. and Mary McGarrigal Anderson.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
