Frankfort- Graveside Services for Welby Peyton Campbell, 94 yrs., of Leonardwood Dr., will be conducted from the Frankfort Cemetery at 1 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2009. Visitation will be Friday, March 27, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home.

He died Monday, March 23, 2009 at the Golden Living Center following an illness.

A native of Casey Co., he was born, February 15, 1915 and was a WWII US Army Veteran. Mr. Campbell then retired from the American Embassy, Department of Foreign Services after thirty years of service.

He is survived by his son, Eric Tipton (Carol Detherage Campbell) Campbell, Cincinnati, OH; and grandchildren, Tracy Campbell and Garrett Campbell.

He was the widow of Mary Elizabeth Yocum Campbell and was the son of the late William Peyton and Judy Cochran Campbell.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Military honors will be observed at the graveside by the VFW Post 4075.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to VFW Post 4075, 104 E. 2nd St., Frankfort, Ky 40601.
