DANTE, VIRGINIA - Connie Sue Brooks Bailey, 58, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport, Tennessee after a hard fought battle with cancer.
She was born in Dante, Virginia; daughter of the late Verlin and Georgia Hamilton Brooks. She was preceded in death by one son, Brandon Shane Brooks; and one brother, Mark Brooks.
She is survived by husband, Joe Bailey; one son, Ryan Bailey and wife, Shanna of Castlewood, Virginia; the three loves of her life, her grandchildren, Leland, Shaylen, and Maddison; one sister, Patsy Lasley of Castlewood, Virginia; two brothers, Bill Brooks and wife, Teresa of Castlewood, Virginia and John Brooks and wife, Janet of North Carolina; several nieces and nephews; and a very special friend that became as a second mom, Betty Martin of Dante, Virginia.
A Song Services for Connie Sue Brooks Bailey will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, March 9, 2019 in Chapel of Love Mausoleum, Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Virginia with Brother Joe Bailey officiating. Interment will follow in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Virginia.
